Tackle EMI/EMC design and/or troubleshooting challenges confidently after taking our new on-demand course bundle from Arturo Mediano.
By popular demand! This course is now being offered live online in 2 sessions over a two day period. Each daily session will last approximately 4 hours and start at 7:00 AM Pacific time. The first session will be presented on May 24 with the final session presented on May 25.
This new online course is the next step in our popular Applied RF Engineering online series. Based on feedback from our corporate customers, this course covers topics related to signals, modulation, propagation, and antennas. As an added bonus, students are encouraged to work on signal processing labs using Octave/Matlab to create and explore basic modulation waveforms. Look for this course to be scheduled towards the end of 2019. Early preview segments will be shared with our RF Mentor Academy subscribers.
Besser Associates is offering two courses from antenna expert Steve Best on phased array applications this September in San Diego, CA.
Besser Associates is pleased to announce our newest online course Applied RF Engineering I - Circuits and Transmission Lines. This course, together with a second, system level course to be announced soon, will form the basis of our new Applied RF Engineering Certificate. The two courses together will cover a similar subject area as the RF Technology Certification program, but with a greater focus on numerical analysis and design techniques and less focus on test and measurement. The two programs are compatible in that one could either take the RF Technology Certification first and move on to the Applied RF Engineering Certification or
A new course gives engineers the background knowledge needed to integrate WiFi (IEEE 802.11) and/or Bluetooth functionality into their products. WiFi and Bluetooth RF Aspects: Standards, Systems, and Measurements is a two day course that will help your team understand how the radios work, and the types of problems that can occur. Background knowledge about indoor and outdoor propagation, modulation types, OFDM, and MIMO will enable your engineers to predict how your product will perform and avoid common mistakes. Current standards such as 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac and Bluetooth EDR and LE are covered. The course is currently available for booking on-site at your facility both in the US and internationally.
