This new online course is the next step in our popular Applied RF Engineering online series. This course covers topics related to signals, modulation, propagation, and antennas. As an added bonus, students are encouraged to work on signal processing labs using Octave/Matlab to create and explore basic modulation waveforms. Watch videos of DSP simulations to construct basic waveforms, then download the open source Octave software or use your existing Matlab software to work with the signals yourself! These exercises will help you become comfortable with fundamental DSP relationships between sample rate, symbol rate, FFT length and frequency resolution.
