This 3-day course provides attendees with a comprehensive introduction to digital wireless audio systems used for music and/or voice applications. The course will present an overview of existing wireless audio technology and discuss the advantages of using RF versus IR and the benefits of digital modulation versus older analog systems. Emphasis will be on the RF and PHY/MAC layer technologies although there will be time devoted to overall performance requirements and discussion of existing commercial solutions.Learning Objectives:

- Understand Bluetooth DWA solutions and benefits
- Understand benefits of proprietary radio DWA solutions
